These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the MoveMyEmails website and migration platform. By creating an account, purchasing credits, connecting mailboxes, or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the service. If you use the platform on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.
2. Service description
MoveMyEmails is a web-based mailbox migration platform that helps users transfer email data between supported source and destination accounts, including Gmail, Microsoft 365 and IMAP-compatible services. Features may include migration job creation, progress tracking, retry tools, duplicate prevention logic, connection management, account administration and credit-based usage controls.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep that information reasonably up to date. We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe an account is being misused, compromised, or used in breach of these terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform. This includes, without limitation, attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with platform security, using the service to process data you are not authorised to control, reverse engineering the platform except where law permits it, bypassing credit or billing controls, uploading malicious code, or using the service in a way that could damage the platform or other users.
5. Mailbox permissions and authority
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right and proper authority to access, connect and migrate each mailbox or dataset you submit to the platform. We are not responsible for verifying whether you have permission to process a particular mailbox.
6. Billing, credits and refunds
The platform may operate on a credit-based billing model. Pricing, included credits and package details are shown on the website or within the platform and may change from time to time. Unless stated otherwise in writing or required by law, purchased credits and fees are non-refundable once supplied, and unused credits may be subject to any expiry rules shown at the point of purchase.
7. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change, be improved, suspended or withdrawn at any time. We may perform maintenance, apply limits, or restrict access where reasonably necessary for operational, security or legal reasons.
8. Your data
You keep ownership of your data. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transfer and secure that data solely for the purpose of operating the service and supporting your requested migrations. Our handling of personal data is also described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual property
The platform, website design, software, branding, logos, interface elements and related materials remain our property or the property of our licensors. These terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you other than the limited right to use the platform in accordance with these terms.
10. Third-party providers
The platform may depend on third-party systems such as Google, Microsoft, hosting providers, payment processors and IMAP servers. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, authentication failures, rate limits or data issues caused by third-party providers outside our reasonable control.
11. Liability disclaimer and limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that every migration will complete without delay, duplication, omission, provider-side errors, or compatibility issues.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or loss-of-profit damages, or for loss of data, business interruption, reputation damage or third-party claims arising from use of the platform. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately where you breach these terms, create risk for the platform, fail to pay fees when due, or where continued access would create legal or security concerns. Clauses that by nature should continue after termination will remain in effect.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless another applicable mandatory law requires otherwise. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless law says a different forum must apply.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
